You won’t even imagine the horrid things they’ve done to their patients, some of them even found it very joyful.

Dr. Walter Freeman
Dr. Walter Freeman (1895-1972) was responsible for harming more than 3,000 patients by using a primitive and problematic medical technique called the lobotomy. He operated on his patients by inserting a metal tool into the eyes’ corners, thus damaging the connections to the brain’s frontal lobes.
Freeman used his technique without anesthesia inside his own van, which served as a surgery room. After some of his patients died from a brain hemorrhage, Freeman was restricted (at last) from performing surgery.
Dr. Linda Burfield
Dr. Linda Burfield (1867-1938) named herself Dr. Hazzard for a good reason. Not only had she killed 15 of her patients (according to official police records), but she promoted very dangerous methods for curing diseases.
Dr. Hazzard tried to convince everyone that fasting is the cure for any health issue, including cancer. She told her patients to follow a draconian diet, which included 2 bowls of tomato broth and 1-2 oranges per day for an entire month. Obviously, this diet severely lacks fundamental nutrients.
After being accused of killing a rich British woman, Burfield was sentenced to a couple of years in prison. However, as soon as she was released, she established the “school of health” clinic where she presumed her starvation method on those seeking a magical cure. Ironically, she died while trying to cure herself using the method she created.
