A natural, “healthy” alternative to Sugar?
Surprisingly, there is actually a version of sugar that is perfect for diabetics since it doesn’t affect blood sugar levels, but unfortunately, you cannot have it! What is it? It’s called L-glucose, it has a similar molecular structure to sugar and also tastes almost like sugar but is better than sugar thanks to its very low-calorie content.
Why you can’t have it? In fact, it is 50 percent more expensive than gold! It can only be made in labs and it’s never produced on a large scale, moreover, it even has a laxative effect.

So not only you’ll age faster but also won’t be able to learn or remember much of anything.
Sugar is more Addictive than Drugs
Sugar stimulates the brain similarly to drugs, yet it can be more addictive than the most addictive drugs, heroin and cocaine. A 2013 research revealed that eating Oreo stimulates the brain’s pleasure center more than injected cocaine in rats.
During the study, rats were given coke until they’ve become addicted to it, then they were given the choice to either keep having the cocaine or switch to sugar. 94% of rats eventually chose and were even more interested in sugar! The simple explanation is that sugar has more powerful effects on the brain (of both rats and humans) than drugs.
