It is said that if there is no pain, there will be definitely no gain ! what do you think? true or not? In Ramona’s point of view, this is 100% true.

The proof is that Dakota was training during the first months of filming the movie for 60 minutes and the number of minutes went even higher and the exercises even more aggressive and tough but then later on she cut back training only for 30 minutes.

According to Ramona, the training wasn’t boring at all. In contrary, it was a combination of a variety of exercises with different levels of intensity. The main goal was to help tone Dakota’s body and not build the muscle bulk.

Therefore, the workouts included different moves and even sometimes Dakota was obliged to wear ankle weights for the sake of raising the intensity level. A typical workout was more about 5 to 10 minutes warm-up step on a treadmill, followed with three exercises in a row, and then again go back to the cardio exercises.

In order to keep the trainee, fresh Ramona tried to be more creative and included dance-inspired moves, Pilates, kickboxing, and

to keep the workouts sessions much more interesting.
In addition to this, Dakota did not exceed the eight pounds when carrying weights.

She was monitored to use more of the Pilates ring that helped her inner thighs to stay toned and firm and also between the palms in order to engage the upper body and build the core strength when it is held during exercises such as the Russian twists.

She was also trained to learn how to maintain her body balance through squats or through pounding the pavement on her own. Interesting!

Dakota didn’t go to the gym but almost all of her training was inside a trailer. The latter was more than 50 feet long, the fact that provided enough space for practicing different moves, including the traveling moves such as dance-inspired, leaps, and also turns, plus the walking lunges, squat step-outs, and also planks.
