To prepare the mixture, you need 20 drops of rose geranium and pennyroyal essential oil with 2 tbsp of almond oil. Once the mixture is ready, don’t hesitate to add some drops to your dog’s fur or their collar.
Caution: do not use this mixture on cats or pregnant animals.
#3 – Garden Pests
No matter how hard you work to make your garden look beautiful and clean, pests can easily ruin it in the blink of an eye! There are certainly many pesticides in the market that will help you get rid of the garden pests, including aphids, spider mites, and more but these chemical products can make fruits and vegetables inedible.
To prepare the mixture, mix a half cup of hot pepper with a half a cup of garlic or onion. Blend everything well until you have a smooth paste, add 500 ml of warm water, and then let it sit for 24 hours, strain it, and then spray it on your plants.
#4 – Spiders
Tired of spotting poisonous spiders in your house, then, worry not! There is a natural repellent that can help you get rid of them. The smell of this repellent is strong enough to disturb their comfort and keep them away from your house.
To prepare this mixture, you need to add 5-10 drops of peppermint oil to 200 ml of water and ¼ tsp of liquid detergent. Shake it well and then spray the mixture where spiders are more common for one whole week.
It’s good to mention that peppermint oil can be substituted with citronella, tea tree oil, citronella, or eucalyptus.
#5 – Ants
Ants can be really annoying! They always tend to sneak into places in the kitchen or pantry. However, to keep them away, you need nothing but putting some cinnamon powder in the areas from where the ants enter. In fact, ants hate the smell of cinnamon and for better results, don’t hesitate to add some drops of cinnamon essential oil.
