This one used to be true, before the so many genetic changes of wheat since 1950. Wheat was once healthy and natural, but it’s no longer the case and whole wheat may be even worse.

Wheat has been linked to boosting blood sugar more than table sugar does. According to Doctor William Davies in his book ‘wheat Belly’, when patients removed wheat from their diet, their blood sugar levels were lower and they could lose up to 40 pounds.

Take a look at the US Department of Agriculture, you’ll find that grains are at the bottom of their popular food pyramid, meaning that they should be consumed more than fruits, vegetables and meat. Well, this is a very big lie.

Grains actually do not contain as many nutrients as vegetables and fruits. Some grains, such as wheat, even leads to health problems (as we mentioned before).

Eating at least 30 grams of protein for breakfast can actually improve weight loss, according to studies. Kidney disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes are the result of excessive carbohydrate intake and obesity, not because of a high protein diet.
