When we consume too much sugar at once, our liver and bloodstream can’t handle that large amount of glucose, and that leads to NASH (non-alcoholic steatohepatitis).
It is when the liver continually trying to heal itself from all the scars and abuse. The worst part about this illness is the fact of it being a silent disease, and it doesn’t show up unless it is almost too late.

After a study by the Oregon State University 2015, scientists confirmed that sugar-rich diets can impact our brains and their ability to maintain both long and short-term memories. This study was even more proved when a 2017 UK study found out that high blood sugar is connected to the progression of Alzheimer’s disease.
