#5 – Older Men are Financially Stable

The financial aspect is very important in every relationship. Most women look for men who have are able to be financially supportive. It is not gold-digging or a social climbing. It is simply about practicality. For example, to start a family, it is important that the man is able to provide security.

A self-sufficient woman will rarely settle for anything less than what she earns. Unless she is truly deeply madly in love with that man who earns less than she does, but that’s not what this article is about.

From a logical perspective, a typical 20’s-30’s man will have fewer savings and fewer assets accumulated compared to his 20-years-later version, given that he continued to work and save throughout years.

So an older man has enough assets and cash in the bank to support a family, besides the will and desire to have one. This is why women choose financially-stable men over those who are still thinking how to start a career.

Of course, money is not everything in a relationship but the chances of failure get higher without money, especially when there are kids involved. This is not to say that women should depend on their partner financially but financial stability is important for both her and her partner if they really want to start a family and be together for life.
