#1 – Blue-Eyed Chinese Boy

Nong Yousui is a Chinese boy who has clear-blue eyes along with the ability to see and write in total darkness!

The boy’s teachers say he can effortlessly finish a questionnaire in a dark room, and surprisingly, when exposing his eyes to a flashlight, they flared luminous green (the same way cats’ eyes reflect light at night.) It is said that Yousui was born with an acute night vision that is the first of its kind in humans.

Yet, if the boy was really cat-eyed, his eyes would have flashed (reflected light) on the viral video shared on the internet. Moreover, science does not approve this since such mutation cannot just happen.

Still, the boy’s vision can be reasonable in case he has additional light receptors in his eyes. Generally, just the visible fact that he is both Chinese and blue-eyed is fascinating enough. It could be a kind of albinism, scientists believe.

#2 – Seeing Stars!

People who suffer from migraines can see stars, flashes, or other visual disturbances, while most of us can see a light show after rubbing our eyelids. The explanation of such bright visions is a stimulated or pressured retina.

The eyeball contains a gelatinous liquid that maintains the eye roundness. This thick gel can sometimes put pressure on the retina and its center, forming pictures in the brain.

This can happen after rubbing your eyelids, a powerful sneeze (that stimulates the retina or optic nerve), or standing up too rapidly (which can create visions due to the effects of low blood pressure and an oxygen-deprived brain on the eye.)
