It’s not magic, it’s just the right natural homemade remedies! These are the best (and probably the easiest too) ways to get rid of the stubborn, annoying, and skin-wrecking blackheads and whiteheads so you can finally enjoy the clear, beautiful skin you deserve.
The biggest secret of having flawless and healthy skin though is finding the right daily skin care routine, and of course, sticking to it.
#1 – Honey +Lemon + Sugar
To make this sweet-sour homemade remedy, pick a medium-sized lemon, cut it in half, and pour a sufficient amount of organic honey to cover the cut surface. Next, sprinkle a couple of pinches of cane sugar and start to gently massage the problematic spots on your face using circular movements.
Remember to cleanse your skin with this natural scrubbing sponge only once a week.
#2 – Vaseline + Plastic wrap
This trick is best to be applied immediately after showering so the pores would still be open. First, apply Vaseline to the areas that need treatment, then, carefully put the plastic wrap over Vaseline and apply a hot towel right away.
Leave it until it cools and then use remove excess Vaseline using a tissue and gently squeeze off the skin where the pore-clogging blackheads are hiding. You’ll see how the dirt would be pushed out easily. Finally, apply some lotion and keep in mind that this procedure shouldn’t be done more than twice a month.
#3 – Coconut oil + Essential oils
Let’s chase off those annoying blackheads and whiteheads! Pick a jar where you’ll put ¼ a cup of coconut oil and then let it soften in the microwave for about 15 seconds. Then, add 10 drops of tea tree, lavender, and lemon oils to the coconut oil and stir thoroughly until smooth.
Apply the solution to your skin using a cotton ball 2 times a day after cleansing your face. Seal the jar and store it at room temperature.
#4 – Cinnamon + Oat Flour
Combine equal parts of cinnamon powder and oat flour (preferably 1 tablespoon), add some warm water, and stir until the mixture is thick. Use your fingertips to gently apply this solution on your face. Scrub in a circular motion for 1 minute and rinse with cold water.
It should be noted that cinnamon might cause a tingling sensation when you apply it but don’t worry, it will go away after washing your face. Repeat twice a month.
#5 – Activated charcoal + Green clay
You’ll need ½ tsp of warm water, 1 tsp of green clay, and ½ tsp of activated charcoal powder. Mix these ingredients well until you get a smooth mask and then use a brush or sponge to apply it to your face.
Leave the mask on until it’s completely dry and then wash your face with cold water. This pore-cleaning mask needs to be applied once or twice a week for the best results.
#6 – Coconut oil + Coffee grounds
You’ll need ½ cup of softened coconut oil and ½ cup of fresh coffee grounds. Combine the two ingredients and use the mixture to gently massage your face in circular movements. Let the mixture sit on your face for 5 minutes before washing.
Repeat this once a week for the best results. Don’t throw away the remaining mixture! Put it into ice cube trays and store in the freezer.
#7 – Honey + Yogurt + Oatmeal + Olive oil
In a food processor, blend 2 tsp of olive oil with 2 tsp of honey, 2 tsp of yogurt, and ¼ cup of oatmeal. Wash your face and scrub it with the mixture for about 2 minutes. Then, rinse off.
Don’t scrub if your skin is sensitive and prone to irritation when scrubbed. In this case, use the mixture as a 6-minute facial mask. Repeat up to twice a week.
#8 – Honey + Sugar + Olive oil + Vanilla extract
First mix ¼ cup of brown sugar and ¼ cup of white sugar, then add ¼ cup of olive oil, stir, and mix in ½ tsp of vanilla extract and 1 tbsp of honey. You should end up with a smooth solution which you’ll use to scrub the affected areas on your face. Finally, rinse off with warm water.
This natural remedy shouldn’t be used more than once a week. Use an airtight jar to store the remaining mixture at room temperature.
