What’s interesting is that Franco hasn’t visited Pontito for more than 30 years! Yet, he was able to vividly recall its landmarks and buildings, which he then began to paint with remarkable details. His works of art eventually caught the attention of experts, who shared it with the public in art galleries along with real photos of the sites for comparison.

Tony Cicoria’s unique story is one of the best-known cases of acquired savant syndrome. Unbelievably, he was struck by lightning in 1994! The 42-year-old man had just finished using a public telephone when the bolt struck his body, causing his heart to stop. With some unbelievable luck, the woman waiting behind him to use the phone was an experienced nurse, who could resuscitate him. Tony later claimed that he had seen bluish-white light surrounding his own body on the ground. While he was recovering, Tony became literally obsessed with piano music that he bought himself a piano and could surprisingly teach himself to play.

Not only he learned to play perfectly, but he also had the ability to compose pieces that seemed to suddenly appear in his head, regardless of the fact that he had never had any real interest in music before the accident. Tony Cicoria then spent all of his time writing and practicing music for several months. Finally, he started his first composition on October 2007, and since then has given a great number of recitals and appeared in numerous TV programs and magazines.
