The deadliest form of extreme weather is the heat waves. In fact, it is responsible for more deaths than hurricanes, tornadoes, lightning, floods, and earthquakes combined in the United States every year.

Plus, around the world, there are many people who are exposed to extreme heat that is capable to make their organs swell and cells to die. In 2003, there were more than 60,000 deaths in Europe because of summer heat wave, while in 2010, more than 10,000 people died in Moscow.

These numbers are scary, so make sure to always stay hydrated, and stay inside when it is too hot outside. Remember that air conditioner is bliss. Stay safe!
