#6 – Eating to just eat
One of the most important meals of the day is breakfast. We all know it and we all try to follow it, which is why sometimes we end up eating in the morning just to eat. But surprisingly, it could lead you to weight gain, too.
Your body knows best about when and how much you need to eat, so unless you are physically and naturally hungry, don’t pressure yourself to eat. However, don’t wait until you are starving because that could lead to overeating, cravings, and poor choices.
#7 – Leftovers
Some days, we wake up too lazy, too tired, or too hungry. That’s okay, we are all humans and it happens, but that should not lead us to make horrible decisions, like eating the leftover birthday cake or pizza for breakfast.
You will feel bloated and bad throughout the whole day because the sugar and bad salt on these foods will lead to an imbalanced blood sugar and fatigue.
#8 – Doing oats all wrong
Of course, your way of doing oats depends on you and how you like it, but there is a good chance that you add a little way too much sugar to it. Plus, the flavored oats can contain 20 grams of added sugar already, which will cause you to crave sweets all day, therefore, more pounds around the waistline.
So it is best to make your own oats, control the added flavors or sugars, and add your own fruits to make your breakfast as perfect as you wish it would be.
