#1 – Refrigerator Freshener
Many people routinely use baking soda to help remove bad odors or smell from their refrigerators. However, lemon can do a wonderful job especially when it is about unpleasant smells in your fridge. Squeeze half a lemon and use a sponge to absorb it.
Put the sponge in the fridge for a couple of hours so it can absorb the odors you’re trying to get rid of. The same can be said for your trash cans as a way to remove the unpleasant odors there.
#2 – For Nails
Lemon can give a boost to your nails’ overall well-being. If your nails suffer from being dry and/or brittle, mix lemon juice with olive oil and soak them in a mixing bowl. After soaking rinse them and if you want to take this a step further then, apply cuticle oil.
Lemon juice is famously known to whiten nails and get rid of any stains. Thanks to its acidity, lemon has been used for manicures for many centuries.
#3 – Respiratory Problems
This one, in particular, may surprise you. If you are one of those people who deal with any form of asthma or have a congested chest, drinking lemon juice will lower the amount and level of phlegm in your body.
