4. Almonds
There are two different types of almonds: sweet and bitter! Obviously, we opt for the sweet ones because why dealing with untasty almonds when we can get great benefits from the sweet ones. However, it turned out that bitter almonds are a deadly food because they contain large amounts of hydrogen cyanide, which means eating 7 or 10 can cause serious issues for adults while it can be fatal for kids. One more reason to choose sweet almonds over the bitter ones, anyway!
5. Cashews
The cashews you eat and enjoy are not actually raw, or they are going to be considered as the most delicious deadly food; they have to get steamed to remove a dangerous chemical that is also found in poison ivy. This chemical is called urushiol! If you eat raw cashews, it’s similar to consuming poison oak or poison ivy. Those allergic to poison ivy may instantly have a fatal reaction when consuming raw cashews!
6. Tomatoes
Many people still wonder about tomatoes because they have a history of poisoning many people, so seriously, are tomatoes safe? The leaves and stems of tomatoes have alkali poisons, which can lead to stomach agitation. Same as unripe tomatoes! It’s not exactly high-risk because you would have to eat a large quantity for it to be deadly, but it’s still best to avoid eating them.
