6. Make an Appointment with Your Doctor
Whenever you suffer from an episode of urinary incontinence, you should contact your family doctor for evaluation and treatment. Urinary incontinence may just be a symptom of another, more serious health problem. Your doctor will perform a more detailed diagnosis and order ultrasound or blood and urine tests to help you with your health problem. If necessary, he will also refer you to the most suitable specialist doctor, such as a urologist. Always take this into account and never forget that the sooner your health problem is diagnosed (like everyone else), the more chances you will have to solve it successfully. Take care of yourself, your health, and, of course, your quality of life.
