#10 – Sudden onset of kleptomania
We have heard that the rules were made so we can break them, right? But a rule that’s telling me not to sneak your partner into your parents’ house at night is not the same as stealing other people’s belongings. The first can be broken just fine, but the other is just not correct…
Some people have this sudden urge to ignore the law and start stealing small things, even if they can afford it.
It is one of the earliest signs of dementia, and sadly, not many people admit it or seek help. Don’t be ashamed to admit it and notice if other people have this issue as well in order to help them see a neurologist, therapist, or a psychiatrist.
