Your best bet is to make your own homemade chicken pot pie from scratch, it’s much healthier and safer than the frozen, processed, and unhealthy stuff you need to avoid.
Ice Cream
Who doesn’t like ice cream? No one really, but it’s not about what you like but rather your ability to make healthy choices. Dr. Michael Hirt, a board-certified nutritionist, says that ice cream can be the worst food people can eat.
It is shockingly loaded with hormones, chemicals, and pasteurized dairy (pasteurization alters the proteins found in milk.) Moreover, this cold, yummy food contains saturated fats and loads of sugar. Would you cut off ice cream or just ignore the nutrition facts?
Pastries
Nutritionist Dr. Michael Hirt says that 99% of pastries (such as doughnuts) made from genetically modified wheat, which has been associated with various diseases, such as cancer, heart disease, arthritis, autoimmune conditions, and diabetes. Moreover, pastries are also filled with sugar.
While some sugar won’t hurt, it can result in serious health problems over a long period of time, especially if your source of sugar is the iconic doughnuts.
Whey Protein
If you think that whey protein is healthy, you may want to think again. Whether you are a smoothie enthusiast or bodybuilder, you should know that the problem with whey protein is that it consists of an insulin-like growth ingredient that triggers your body’s production of androgens and insulin, leading to acne breakout, says the board-certified dermatologist Dr. Janet H. Prystowsky.
If you start suffering from acne after consuming whey protein, switch to a non-milk source of protein. After all, there’s no proof that protein supplements are helpful to healthy athletes.
