The latter is an antibacterial agent that may trigger allergies and eventually lead to skin rashes and even worst superbugs through microbial resistance.

Other everyday household items such as soap, kitchenware, and more may also contain this harmful substance. Therefore, it’s a good idea to avoid all products labeled ‘’antibacterial’’ and opt for garden variety toothpaste.

Formaldehyde, which is a harmful chemical used to treat fabrics and make them wrinkle-resistant, can lead to allergic reactions and severe skin irritation. What’s more dangerous is that high exposure to this harmful chemical can cause cancer.

Is your dish soap or detergent toxic? The answer is a big ‘’YES’’. Dish detergent poisoning is more common than you may actually think. In fact, doing the dishes manually can leave some toxic soap residue, which you may actually ingest next time you use the dishes.

So, yes that brightly colored dish soap contains coal-tar dyes, which is referred to as a class of synthetic coloring agents. The latter has been found linked to cancer and can also cause some other issues like skin irritation.

Another sneaky ingredient that shouldn’t go unnoticed is ‘’Fragrance’’, which is one of the most common ingredients in modern-day hair products.

It’s true that shampoos and hair products containing fragrance are marketed as the best thing in the world that will make your hair shine bright like a diamond and smell like spring day-but it can also induce allergic reactions and even cause asthma.
