The initial patent for this chemical is to be used as a flame retardant.
This chemical imprisons the body’s iodine and can cause severe complications from iodine insufficiency.
BVO is banned in both Japan and Europe.
7. Chicken Meat Spiked with Arsenic
Chicken are being fed arsenic-based drugs because they give the meat a pleasant pink color and make the animals grow at faster rates.
When most people see that pinkish meat, they eventually assume that it’s healthier.
The reason why the FDA approves this additive is because organic arsenic is less toxic than the cancer-causing inorganic ones.
Nevertheless, reports claim that the organic arsenic can actually turn into the threatening carcinogen inorganic arsenic.
The highest levels of this composite have been found in supermarket chicken.
This food additive is illegalized by the European Union.
6. Farm Raised Salmon
Wild salmon obtains that nice red color from natural carotenoids in their diet. Meanwhile, farmed salmon are raised on grains and antibiotics, which give the meat an ugly gray color.
So considering that people will refuse to consume that unpleasant meat, farmed fish are fed astaxanthin, a synthetic chemical which is made from petrochemicals!
Astaxanthin is not approved for human ingestion simply because it’s toxic. However, the FDA apparently thinks it is fine to keep using it.
New Zealand and Australia have banned farmed salmon.
You should also ban it from your home and make sure to carefully check the meat before buying it. Unlike farmed salmon, wild salmon is bright red and very mean, with thin white lines.
5. Genetically Engineered Papaya
Recently, it has been proven that animals that are being fed these genetically engineered foods (e.g. soy or corn) are attained by various complications such as, premature death, tumors, intestinal damage, birth defects; and damage to several organs.
