Back issues and chronic pain have become very common in the last years. Both young and old people are struggling on a daily basis trying to figure out what could be done to make the pain disappear!
In fact, there are many factors that can cause such issues and lead to bad posture and chronic pain, including, the sedentary lifestyle, lack of rest, and some unhealthy everyday habits!
#1 – Smoking
Obviously, smoking is not a seemingly harmless habit! It is a dangerous one that can cause you many health issues and deadly diseases including, cancer.
Aside from the known dangers of this deadly habit, smoking can surprisingly cause you chronic backaches! In fact, the nicotine that the cigarettes contain is found to disrupt the normal blood flow around the spinal cord.
#2 – A disruption of circadian rhythms
According to some researchers, the good condition of the cells in intervertebral discs depends on your night cycle and on how stable is your day. This means that when the circadian rhythms are disrupted, they start to function poorly, which eventually lead to inflammation, degeneration of intervertebral disks, and chronic lower back pains.
However, it’s good to note that this malfunction of these cells can also happen due to many factors such as age, night shifts, and chronic insomnia. Studies expose that some chemical substances with natural inflammatory properties in our bodies are produced during the day.
So, the wisest thing to do is to stick to a healthy schedule that doesn’t make you feel or look like a zombie during the day and at the same time work on slowing down the aging of the spinal cord.
#3 – Working while standing
