Excretions are supposed to be a normal thing that all women experience, but when they have an unusual color with an odor that is unpleasant, then your body could be experiencing an infection or some kind of inflammatory process. In fact, there could be a lot of reasons, so contact your doctor as soon as it occurs.

How to tell there is a problem: keep in mind that 2 weeks before your next period, it is completely normal to find some brown-ish excretions, but it is NOT supposed to have a bad smell or to be green.

When it comes to periods, every woman experiences them differently, there are women who have heavy flows for about 3/4 days, and there are others who don’t have heavy periods at all.

However, heavy menstruations could be a result of too much exercising or just adjustment to the climate. Otherwise, it may be endometriosis thyroid dysfunction or a uterine myoma. Plus, the heavy period could possibly lead to anemia.

How to tell there is a problem: since it is hard to tell if your heavy period is normal or not, you can just notice if it stays heavy for more than 7 days, especially if the blood was bright red.

It is important to see a gynecologist at least once or two times a year to make sure that everything is under control. Don’t be shy to discuss anything that is worrying you about them because when it comes to your health, there is nothing awkward.
