This diet which is introduced by Perricone is a great weight loss help and the best skin treatment for wrinkles. Your hair, skin, and nails will be and look better too.

The diet is composed of mainly three types of foods that you are supposed to stick to during a certain period of time, and which are classified in the following way:

-Salmon: fresh salmon or organic salmon is good, but the wild one is perfect. This type of fish contains a great amount of protein and omega 3 fatty acids. These two contribute to restoring the body’s cells and nurturing the skin. Your muscles will be also toned because this fish contain antioxidants and DMAE.

-Dark Green Vegetables: they are rich in antioxidants, contributing to aging prevention and free radicals neutralization.

-Berries and fruit: fresh blueberries, raspberries, bilberries, melon, apple, and pears are all rich in antioxidants and carbohydrates including a high glycemic index. This means that they don’t heighten your blood pressure.

According to DR. Perricone, Facelift Diet includes two sub-categories of diets. The first type is 3-day-diet. For him, eating salmon at least twice a day during a 3-day-diet will optimize your appearance and feeling about yourself.

The 3-day-diet is, in fact, a preparatory phase before setting about the second type of diet, which we will introduce later. What is the exact menu of this variant of the Facelift diet? Keep reading:

-Breakfast: you can have a meal of 3 eggs, scrambled, plus one which should be boiled. You can have also or as a change 110 to 160 g of tofu or salmon, together with ½ cup of oatmeal and bowl of berries. You can drink 1 to 2 glasses of water.

-Lunch: you can enjoy a salad, containing dark-green veggies with some olive oil and lemon juice. The primal dish should be 100 or 150 grams of tune or salmon. As for the dessert, you can keep things green and have one kiwi, plus 1 to 2 glasses of water.
