The bad habit of touching can be damaging to your health as well as the health of your family and people around you. Your hands might seem to have a mind of their own, wandering from your face to random objects on your desk.

Mostly, a number of bacteria and disgusting stuff on your hands is tremendous, and you don’t want to transmit those bacteria to other sensitive parts of your body. On the other hand, there are some other body parts that could even add to the level of germs on your hands.

Look around a waiting room or a coffee shop and you’ll notice multiple people resting their face in their hands. Hands off your face! Unless you are going to wash your face. And make sure to apply moisturizer as well.

According to experts, your hands, particularly your fingers, consist of oils and germs which can plug your pores and worsen acne. So if you want to keep your face clean and avoid pimples, do not touch it.

2. Don’t Touch Your Eyes

Your eyes are very sensitive and touching them can transmit germs, or even worse, you could run the risk of accidentally introducing micro-particles of dirt, which can lead to irritation and cause scratches to your corneas.

If you really need to touch your eyes, you should wash your hands well before you do so. Just resist the desire to touch or rub your eyes, as this bad habit can also lead to more wrinkles and dark spots over time.
