High-fructose corn syrup is rapidly absorbed by the liver, where it’s converted into fat. Besides leading to serious liver diseases, it also increases the production of aging free radicals that can damage your body cells and DNA.

Excess fructose consumption, especially when combined with amino acids from protein, stimulate the formation of toxic elements which can promote aging internally. This can lead to serious health problems, such as diabetes, and heart disease, along with external changes to your skin. Moreover, eating HFCS (in addition to large amounts of other kinds of sugar and processed grains) boosts your insulin levels. This can be the strongest accelerator of your aging process.
