#1 – Finger Length May Predict Arthritis Risk
This might surprise you but according to an Arthritis and Rheumatism study, women whose ring fingers are longer than their index fingers are more likely to develop this disease in the knees.
That’s not everything as the study also expose that low estrogen levels may be a factor. However, men whose ring fingers are longer are found to have more children and better relationships with women as this finger feature do indicate an in-utero testosterone surge during the second trimester.
Still, men with this finger feature are found to have higher risks of developing prostate cancer.
#2 – Shaky Hands May Predict Parkinson’s Disease
This condition can occur due to many factors, including the over-consumption of caffeine or a side effect of certain medications like antidepressants and asthma drugs. However, when something like this occurs, it’s good to take a trip to your doctor.
Shaking hands can also reveal a more serious condition such as Parkinson’s disease. For instance, a tremor in just one hand can be one of the early symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. The sooner you seek help, the better!
