Researchers found that the function of the immune system of the twin with shorter sleep duration is lower in comparison to that of his or her sibling. Thus, sleep deprivation leads to a low immune system functioning and as a result kills the cells of your immune system called the cytokines, which help the body fight against diseases.

Your health shouldn’t be taken for granted. Make sure you get seven to eight hours of quality sleep daily.
