#3 – Using Q-tips to remove ear wax
There is just no absolute use to insert cotton swabs or anything that is similar to it inside your ears. Q-tips can damage your eardrum or the canal, which will eventually lead to a permanent hearing loss (temporary, if you are lucky).
So how are we supposed to clean the ear wax then? Well, you can just leave it alone. According to experts, a normal amount of ear wax is actually very helpful to moisturize and prevent contaminants from reaching the inside of your ears.
#4 – Only brushing your teeth
Oral hygiene should never be missed on any day, and if your way to take care of it is only by brushing your teeth, then you have to change it. Most of the bacteria that cause gum diseases and decay are located in hard to reach places between the teeth, and the only way to remove them is by flossing.
Moreover, don’t ever skip scarping your tongue while brushing your teeth or you may develop bad breath due to the residing bacteria that develop sulfur compounds.
#5 – Not changing towels and sheets enough
Changing our bed sheets or towels could be the last thing to remember throughout our day due to our busy schedule, but our bodies are in constant contact with them shedding all the dead skin and bacteria at all times.
So changing them regularly must become a necessity from now on. Also, if there are more people or pets sleeping or laying down on those bed sheets, then basically you have to change them at least once a week.
