1. Red Grapes
Red grapes are filled with antioxidants and are an excellent source of vitamin C. Amazingly, every part of a red grape, including the skin, contains cancer-fighting properties. In fact, the thin skin of the grape consists of a concentrated amount of resveratrol. The darker the skin is, the more resveratrol it contains.
Research has shown that resveratrol can combat cancer growth and initiation of tumors in liver, breast, stomach, and lymph cancer cells.
Did you know that wine contains resveratrol? But this isn’t good news, as some studies suggest that alcohol intake increases the risk of developing some cancers, so it’s recommended to drink wine in very conservative moderation and get most of your resveratrol intake from organic food, including grapes.
